•Minimizing unnecessary power cycling.
•Alerting Cisco or your network operator to planned activities requiring power cycling (e.g., disaster recovery tests, scheduled maintenance windows).
•Conducting additional checks following scheduled maintenance activities to confirm expected operations.

Note this is a Fix-on-Fail response from Cisco, the equipment must fail before being considered for replacement.
