All I can really say on this topic is that the issue at hand was resolved
from the help of this "operators" group of the people that actually took
time of out their busy schedule to assist me and not just waste time
bitching and pointing me to a useless forum link, and not that of what I
found on Vyatta, after all I am not running "Vyatta" I am running VyOS of
which was CLEARLY mentioned
I have changed my approach to AusNog of late, have you noticed I haven't
bitten back at the crap people send? I've listened to a few of you whom
have spoken to me off list and taken it upon myself to be the bigger man and
not bite back to cause further issues.
In saying that, I've got a question to ask, Is this list not about network
operators, and helping other fellow network operators on list? Or is it
just a bitch mailing list? Because I'm slightly confused,
So what most of you are telling me in previous responses to this thread, is
to go to the vendor right? Okay well then why not tell every other single
person who asks a question here like "I was wondering if I can borrow an
SFP" why don't you tell them to go to their local shops? See my point?
It's about helping fellow operators, you will let them borrow an SFP but
you won't help them with a config issue? Hmmm...
I actually just plainly ignore all the crap that people send back to my
threads now, no point crying over spilt milk as they say..

PS. My above comment was not pointing fingers at one person in particular

You could think of it this way. He is going to the where he believe the most
experience is.
