[AusNOG] Satellite Service

Be aware that some satellite services can be subject to the vagaries of
weather. I would be inclined to use terrestrial ahead of satellite.
Satellite is good as a secondary option or last ditch option. Broadcast
audio streams would be a very high availability requirement I would think.

  Hey Folks,

I have a client that has AM/FM transmitters scattered up and down the
Eastern Seaboard. He is looking for the following information:

Transmission hardware included ( Transmit Satelite + Encoder )

Ability to stream MP3 Stereo Audio in stereo at atleast 192KB/s

Decoders Provided

I have been doing some googling today but have not found any company other
than optus but that’s not a full satellite point to point service

Does anyone know of a company

Regards,
