If you're learning and don't have budget to invest in commercial software,
have a look at this http://nfsen.sourceforge.net/

This will allow you to configure a graphical front end to a repository of
netflows and start getting an understanding of how it's operationally
useful.  If you have any questions about getting it set up, feel free to
contact me off-list - you probably want to avoid upsetting any princesses
who have minor strokes when people post to AusNOG and don't include a
traceroute.
