Thanks for the responses, I have found that the supplier had shipped me 4 of the same unit… Tx1310nm & Rx 1550nm
Getting them to re-ship correctly paired units.

Unless you do
device(config)#service unsupported-transceiver
and
device(config)#no errdisable detect cause gbic-invalid
assuming you are using the right combination of WDM SFPs on that link.
The second command may be unnecessary on cat65xx platform.
But I guess you are aware of the consequence of using the aforementioned commands…

Hi All,
Anyone got experience with single strand optics on Cisco 6500s?
trying to test some Champion 1 single strand optics and cannot get a link. The GBIC shows up on the interface just never gets a physical link.
