Check out Superlumin Nemisis – Commercial product but is particularly good for media caching such as Youtube, Netflix, Facebook etc. Extreme scalability, is used at Uni of WA – 2 Servers I believe…

Subject: [AusNOG] Web (Transparent) Caching
Hi all,
This isn't really used all that much in networks in Australia (I think) much anymore due to bandwidth being relatively cheap.
But I have a network situation (extreme regional) which could use it.
Just wondering what the current transparent web caching popular tech is - or at least what does it well and seamlessly.
I assume we've moved past wccp onto Squid from many years ago.
Thanks!
