Required skills

   - Industry experience with production PHP applications
   - Strong object-oriented PHP 5.4+ and design patterns
   - Understanding of SQL and the ability to write complex queries
   - Comfortable with the Linux CLI and bash (we work on CentOS VMs)
   - Git or another DVCS

Desirable skills

   - Comfortable with MVC frameworks (Zend, Symfony, etc)
   - An understanding of testing and TDD
   - Elasticsearch / Lucene experience and a general interest in search
   technology
   - Optimisation, caching strategies and a love of keeping things fast
   - Open source contributions
