I think Cisco wants it to be 9k now.  But my understanding is that the Trident-based linecards also have 512k TCAM slots, so don’t bother buying cheap old cards on eBay, n’kay?

(that understanding could very well be flawed, I’ve not used ASR9K hardware that old, I’m relaying what I’ve been told by people who have)
