Vocus (where I work) is a provider of significant SMW3 capacity and would be happy to chat to you about pricing, and yes its definitely more than bandwidth to the US.

Unfortunately I am not sure that ‘happening’ is the right word, I think perhaps ‘proposed’ is better. Unless of course there has been an update and someone has actually committed to build?

Not yet a go as far as I know, although rumours I am hearing has them as the current front runner.

Again I believe it is still pending someone pushing the big green go button - although you would be crazy to underestimate Bevan and Carlos.
I think potentially both cables are in trouble as they don’t have a number in their name. SMW3, PPC-1 etc (not wanting to be a doomsayer but this could be the fatal flaw they have overlooked)
Lastly don’t forget about Trident they seem to be the dark horse and are pursuing a more resource sector focused plan that the other two.

I certainly can’t wait until someone green lights their cable as the demand for connectivity to SG is growing and SMW3 capacity looks like it will be in short supply soon.
Cheers,
