Hi Daniel,
Megaport (and Mega-IX) is available in Sy1 today. Normal pricing is 10G
$500/month. However Test Drive is still in affect so the following are at
no cost for the initial 6 months.
- 10G IX service
- Cross Connect in Sy1 (or Sy2/3/Global Switch MMR/PacNet or NEXTDC-S1)
- Virtual X-Connects to other Megaport participants
- 100Mbps intercap
There are around 40 customers in Sydney either connected or under
provisioning at present.
Drop a note off-list if you're interested.
Cheers

Subject: [AusNOG] Cross Connect Pricing & Peering POP's
Hey Noggers,
Currently investigating some costings on peering and cross connects at
present
Looking at bringing on NSW-IX at present which I've been quoted on $120 for
a 1GBit Ethernet Cross connect in Sy1 or $250 for 1GBit Fibre Cross connect
between Sy1 - Sy3 per month,
Another option is, How much would a 1GB Cross connect cost from SY1 - Vocus
Doody Street?
Another question i had was, How much are other peering POP's charging at
present and what location are their POP's in?
Cheers for the information this reveals in advance.
D.
