[AusNOG] TelstraGlobal?

It was explained to me recently that TelstraCorp is almost 100% Australia-focused, whereas TelstraGlobal is everywhere else (with carrier licenses in 15 countries) and also includes products that TC can't or won't do.

I believe TG is 100% owned by Telstra through Telstra International.

Reach was was divvied up by PCCW and TG in 2011 and currently exists as a holding entity for some assets in Hong Kong, with most of the international cables and transit business having been transferred to TG.

TelstraGlobal is a super network, kindof like AS7473 vs Optus. TelstraGlobal sell.. well to global, while Telstra is pretty much 100% Oceania.

Getting late so can't think properly, but its basically just a commercial thing, the shareholders are somewhat different between them IIRC.

Kind of interesting though to Amazon connects to TelstraGlobal/Reach in Sydney, and not Telstra.
