ADVA make some awesome *WDM boxes. They may however be at the top end of your price expectation.

Subject: [AusNOG] CWDM/DWDM Kit....
Ok... Working on a project where I've not got much experience.
I presume some people here have had experience with CWDM/DWDM equipment.
Essentially, I want to terminate some dark fibre - multiple wavelengths - as many as possible... 8 would be nice.
I am looking at the Cisco EWDM kit, which seems reasonable.... but I thought I would throw the topic out to Ausnog to see if people who have had some experience would suggest other vendors and price ranges to expect.
I understand that you can use cheapish-kit, but don't know what is considered cheap, or expensive for these kinds of deployment.
Thanks in advance for you knowledge guys.
