[AusNOG] Cacti Graphing @ 100MBit

Hi Daniel,
Without knowing specifics i'd check the following:

The most likely culprit is 32bit counters:
http://forums.cacti.net/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=24526

Whenever a traffic graph is created cacti polls the ifSpeed from IF-MIB, if
you create a graph when a link is operating at 100Mb or down you may need
to perform an rrdtune for the database to accept the input, the command
will look like this "rrdtool tune host_traffic_in_33.rrd --maximum
traffic_in:1000000000000" (http://oss.oetiker.ch/rrdtool/doc/rrdtune.en.html
)

Also if the servers you are polling are windows based, there may be a few
issues with 64 bit counters.

Dave
