Hi Paul,
if it is outdoor, I would use Brocade 6910 AC or DC and you can get a temperature hardened version as well (-40 to +64). It has 12 ports SFP/RJ45, supports link aggregation and we do have number of customers who are getting them from us for that reason. This is the datasheet http://www.brocade.com/downloads/documents/data_sheets/product_data_sheets/6910-ds.pdf and if you are interested, let me know and I can help you with that.

Subject: [AusNOG] managed ggabit switch - passive cooling
Hi All,
I'm looking around for a gigabit switch to go into an outdoor wall mount enclosure (ala smartwire panel).
Just wondering if anyone has any experience or recommendations for suitable devices?
Passive cooling and managed with 802.3ad support a must. Max of 16 ports, though 8 would be fine. Have considered the Ubiquiti Toughswitch, but not in need of PoE.
Replies off-list please... happy to summarise to list if anyone else is interested!
Regards,
Paul.
