[AusNOG] APNIC Slashes Costs for New Members

Perhaps I'm missing something here, but I'm failing to see the logic
with this particular concept.

So IP address flipping outfit creates a Pty Ltd Company - $500. Gets
APNIC resources - $2425. Therefore; total investment: $2925ex

Then sells a /22 for $16k making a $13k profit... the only problem is
you'd have to have a lot of complete idiots buying these ranges for
the supposed $16k when they could get themselves a range for around
$2925 themselves with a similar level of difficulty.

You might be able to sell a large prefix for a good rate per IP. But a
/22, I don't think so.
