[AusNOG] Melbourne AusNOG Go Kart session - 2nd of Aug 6PM to Late - REMINDER

Dear All

Just a quick reminder that its 7 days until our Melbourne AusNOG Go Karting event !

The Food and Drink has been all arranged and the session confirmed !  I have a list of 25 people with a few positions still available so if you're interested please email me ASAP !
If you're interested in just coming down to meet people please come along and say hello, I don't think we will start racing until 7:30pm or so if you're stuck in traffic or can't finish work early you should still make it on time.

PS anyone who has confirmed already should have just received an email from me.

Detailed information is below for anyone who didn't see the first email a few weeks ago.

Cost: $85.00 per person who wants to Cart paid directly to Auscarts upon arrival (If you don't want to Cart your more than welcome to still come and network with everyone)

When:  Friday the 2nd of August 2013 6pm  - Arrival / Registration and BBQ (which will cook all night) in the Function room which I have booked.

Food: I've arranged free food from a good friend of mine who owns Di Censo in Doncaster a high quality butcher shop and I'll bring drinks for everyone.

Racing Starts from 7:30pm onwards (Registration of groups over 20 people takes 45 min sometimes to register so please don't be late and arrive at 6pm)

Mini Sprint Plus
*         75 min format. Drivers are split into two groups and compete separately
*         1 x warm-up/practice per driver consisting of 10 laps per driver
*         1 x race heat of 10 laps per driver
*         1 x grand final of 10 laps per driver
*         The winning drivers of both grand final receive medallions!

If we get more than 30 drivers we might split the groups into three of four groups which will make the event slightly longer but I'll know this closer to the event.

I have everyone's names who emailed me and the list yesterday so I'll email you all now to confirm that I have you on the list, if this is the first time you're reading this or don't get an email from me shortly and want to join in please let me or the list know ASAP.

I'll also send reminder emails to everyone closer to the event.
