Did you recently enable Ipv6 on the client host?
How is its connectivity to 2001:dc0:2001:11::220 ? Ive seen issues where the whois client wont fail back to Ipv4 if Ipv6 is unavailable.

Hey,
Is anyone else experiencing this?
I've been seeing it since last week.
