What kind of port densities are you looking at? You will get more on a 
Juniper MX and Brocade MLX than the Cisco ASR. Are you looking for just 
ethernet ports or other kinds of WAN interfaces?

The Juniper MX can support non ethernet wan interfaces but you will lose 
at lot of ports to do it.
