Dear all,

I'd like to inform you all of an event being held by SAGE-AU in association
with platinum event sponsor Megaport - the National IPv6 Roadshow.

Over a two week period in March 2014, we will be offering a full day of
training in each of seven locations across Australia on IPv6 aimed at
Systems Administrators and other IT Professionals who need to be aware of
exactly what IPv6 is, why it's important, how to convince their
bosses/employers that it's important, and how to implement it in a
corporate environment. This training will be run by our training partner
IPv6 Now!, who are an experienced, well established and well credentialed
IPv6 training organisation.

Although I suspect that most of you who are responsible for running carrier
networks are already well versed on IPv6 (and I'd hope are well advanced in
your plans to implement it), this training may still be of interest to
people you know who are (or should be) interested in learning about IPv6.

We have opened pre-registration for the event, which you can complete at
the following address: https://www.ipv6roadshow.org.au/. Pre-registration
isn't a contract obligating you to attend, but will help us to plan the
event according to expressed interest levels. The full event agenda and
full registration will be available shortly. The event is expected to be
priced very competitively as a full day of technical training with a
certified training provider, with SAGE-AU members being able to attend at a
significant discount.

We are also looking for sponsors for the events. As an event sponsor, you
will have the opportunity to present yourself to a large number of IT
Professionals who a clear interest in networking, as well as to portray
your business as a supporter of the improved uptake of IPv6 in the IT
sector. A copy of our sponsorship prospectus is available on the
pre-registration website. Alternatively, feel free to contact me for
further information.

Regards,

Robert Hudson
President, SAGE-AU
