Dear IT Industry,

Hope you're having a wonderful day!

We're currently looking at a scripting system to facilitate redundancy of DNS services for a client website across two servers. The function will be to have the domain delegated to four nameservers (two on each server), and have scripting withdraw/add/update certain DNS records based upon whether or not one location (or the other) is offline.

We'd like to script this using ISC Bind on a Windows Server (2008), it's been a few years since my own programming days, and I've been advised that I'm to get away from wearing a technical hat and keep on the management side of our business - so I'm not interested in doing the work myself. In this instance, our support team either need some assistance, either in the form of advice how you've been able to get a similar function (or script) working using ISC Bind on Windows Server 2008, or otherwise recommendation of a specialist advisory contractor/person that can assist with contracting of this nature.

If you could please respond either on or offlist it would really be appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Kind Regards,

Chris Macko
