Correct. Windows 7, when set to ‘Automatic’ VPN mode, tries in order of
preference:

 - IKEv2
 - SSTP
 - L2TP/IPsec
 - PPTP

For the customer not to believe the network guy when he says PPTP is
dead, buried, and cremated, is simply inexcusable.
