Equinix is an excellent facility and the major bonus is that they have 24x7 Smart Hands with Equinix staff on-site.  Bulletproof may offer this in Global Switch but they would be traveling to the Data Centre from a remote site.  If you wanted Global Switch with on-site support you could look at HarbourMSP as they have staff on-site at their NOC in Global Switch 24x7x365.

Both have a large amount of carrier access, both have very good security and both have very reliable power systems etc so I really think the only major differentiator is the on-site LOC at Equinix who can provide on the ground support.  In saying this at times, you can be made to wait a fairly lengthy period for support but usually within 60 minutes at the far end of the scale.
