Thanks Mark

 ><http://www.mrp.net/ipv6_survey/#augov> would suggest that they are
lagging behind their USA counterparts.

Great to see an even more advanced implementation of IPv6. There's
always more work to be done!

 ><http://www.mrp.net/ipv6_survey/diagnostics/deewr.gov.au.html> also
shows that <htttp://www.deewr.gov.au> has an IPv6 address but it
redirects to <http://deewr.gov.au> which doesn't.

Sounds like a poor man's attempt at a reverse proxy
(http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=92FwtiBb3_s).

This is a pity because there are a bunch of free reverse proxy services
that achieve just what they apparently attempted
(http://www.sixxs.net/tools/gateway/ ,
http://blog.cloudflare.com/introducing-cloudflares-automatic-ipv6-gatewa
, http://instant6.com). They do so in a very clean trouble free manner -
some more so than others.

 >Cynics might suggest that they are faking IPv6 accessibility :-)

It's only a fake for the cynics because the attempt failed - it's the
failure that is offensive.

KJK
