[AusNOG] Recommendation on a reliable/good 1000Base-X to 1000Base-T media converter.

Cisco do make a range of "Industrial" switches for this case. They are the IE3000 and the specs on them say up to 75C operating temp. You can get them in a DIN-rail mounting format (as well as standard 19" rack).

Don't have any experience with them, just know that they exist.
