+1 to all of the suggestions against using these. Every circuit that
we delivered or had delivered to us by these kind of devices 'back in
the day' are now on managed switches.

As well as the troubleshooting advantages as well as UDLD and the
like, you also get the bonus in many cases of being able to multiplex
multiple services through the one box if that's appropriate in your
deployment scenario.
