its unlikely that a 10m DAC will function correctly with an Intel 10G NIC
or with the majority of SFP+ switch ports in the market with any reasonable
bit error rate.
suggest you verify what your switch vendor supports and/or look at SRL
(compatible with 10GBASE-SR but with VCSEL laser making them more cost
effective) optics which will likely be a lower price point than an active
twinax that you probably need to reliably drive 10m.
