Wasn't yesterday:
58.163.175.191 - - [25/Jun/2012:13:15:21 +1000] "GET /derp3 HTTP/1.1" 404 7087 "-" "Mozilla/5.0 (Linux; U; Android 4.0.4; en-au; SonyEricssonLT26i Build/6.1.A.0.452) AppleWebKit/534.30 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/4.0 Mobile Safari/534.30"
50.57.190.113 - - [25/Jun/2012:13:15:22 +1000] "GET /derp3 HTTP/1.0" 404 16725 "-" "Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9) Gecko/2008052906 Firefox/3.0"

If I hit any URL it would immediately be followed up by that request from a Rackspace IP (but only once as reported).

Today there's no sign of it.

I also created a page that returns content with 200 and that also didn't trigger the second request.
