I'll second this. Seeing outage info here has been helpful and time
saving on several occasions lately.

Obviously, this doesn't mean that the local ISP with 150 customers
should be posting outage notes, but where an outage has the potential
to affect a decent part of the nog  community, I can only see benefits
to this.
