[AusNOG] Load Balancer Experience / recommendations ?

I've also used nginx as a reverse proxy + load balancer, it works pretty well in my opinion. I had a few small problems with initial configuration but a little searching on Google helped with fixing those problems.

We use nginx as well, however we're investigating putting varnish behind nginx to make certain services a little snappier.
