We have just had a customer tell us the same thing.

This is a sample trace

1 10.57.0.1 (10.57.0.1) 81.800 ms 11.313 ms 9.276 ms
2 sbr4-ge0-3.gw.optusnet.com.au (198.142.163.41) 23.834 ms 13.246 ms
12.198 ms
3 xe-3-1-0.sd31.optus.net.au (119.225.41.253) 24.354 ms 18.282 ms
10.533 ms
4 * * *
5 119.225.3.82 (119.225.3.82) 10.133 ms 95.642 ms 51.061 ms
6 bdr-1-3-eth2-16.sau.net.au (114.31.200.126) 50.944 ms 13.832 ms
14.319 ms
7 27.50.70.98 (27.50.70.98) 19.381 ms 18.335 ms 15.865 ms

The trace all looks ok, but it doesn’t seem to be letting anything through
at times.

Originally it looked like a PIPE issue again, but it appears to be Optus /
AAPT related.

We are seeing customers with APPT and Optus (coming through AAPT)
intermittently having their traffic dropped. Interestingly, traceroutes
often succeed, and then HTTP traffic is dropped. Is anyone else seeing
similar issues with AAPT this morning?

Best,

Gary
