Hi,

Since AUSNOG is in Melbourne this year, we thought it might be interesting to take a group through the NBN Co facility in the docklands which houses our Operations centre, Test lab and Demo centre. We have managed to secure some hosts in all three areas on the afternoon before the conference (Wednesday 5th September). 

To make it manageable, we can accept the first 25 people (first come, first served).

We are setting up an event registration page later, but in the meantime please just send me your expression of interest by return email and I'll provide the URL when it's ready.

Overview:
You are invited to register to attend a tour of NBN Co's facility in Docklands, Melbourne.
This facility houses the Network and Service Operations Centre (NSOC), National Test Facility and NBN Discovery Centre. You will gain insight into the approach used to monitor and operate the network, test and validate new network architectures and products, and finally a look at the NBN Co equipment that is used both within the home and in the external fibre network.

Time & Date
Wednesday 5th September, 3.45PM at the security desk for a 4.00PM start (sharp). The tour should take 1 hour.
