Government agencies should comply with the Federal Defence Signals
Directorate (DSD) Information Security Manual (ISM) which outlines
sanitisation requirements, which are dependant on the classification of the
device/media.

A government agency shouldn't really be giving assets away without having
the sanitisation processes written up and agreed to prior.

Highly sensitive assets may need to be destroyed (probably just the flash
storage, not the whole switch; if possible) not just cleaned/wiped.
