[AusNOG] Network Visualisation Tools, favourites?

Can anyone refresh me as to what the diagram system that the Juniper guy was
using was?
I seem to recall him calling it karanden or something like that..

Personally for showing active links etc (similar to the Network Weathermap)
I use 'The Dude' ( http://www.mikrotik.com/thedude.php ) which is a free
software, comes with its share of limitations but is pretty feature rich and
has a relatively simple learning curve. Software runsunder Windows or Wine
but has a web interface for viewing too. (See http://imgur.com/gdrRm for a
simple example map)

That said I'd love to find something decent for providing that sort of
visibility that's open source and relatively new.
