I personally find Joomla a bit of a PITA. As a content management system
it is 'ok'. It's easy(ish) for non-technical people to create articles
but I find the administration interface and arrangement of content
obtuse - and editing site templates is painful.

I'd stick to a wiki for documentation, combined with an asset database
or CMDB - particularly if information is cross-referenced. Wikipedia
used to (and probably still does) have an article comparing the
different wiki systems with regard to features & OS support - this would
be a good read.

Regards,
Brad
