Think on Bevan,

Those long drives home at 3am to get our laptop power adapters are what builds our experience, if you eliminate that you may be responsible for a whole new generation of dumb techs who in 5 years are breaking the glass for a clean pair of huggies!

Hi,

We are looking at setting up some "spares" in our facilities (minor things) at the security station and am wondering what items you've desperately missed or needed in a data centre at 3:00am in the morning. Thinking certain patch leads, cables/connectors, power supplies, tools, cage nuts etc. etc.

Just wanting peoples thoughts/experiences so we maybe able to keep some stocks "in case of emergency". Happy for people to respond off-list to reduce traffic but really wanted to make sure we think of most of the annoying little things.

Cheers
