[AusNOG] [OT] Looking for contact details of law enforcement

I did know a detective in cybercrimes but unfortunately he's now moved on to
another higher up department.

If it's a computer crime of sorts it will get passed onto that department
and they do take it seriously.

I know I know, don't laugh, but....

Have you downloaded the Government's Cybersafety Help Button?

www.dbcde.gov.au/helpbutton

I might not normally suggest this, but given next week is 'Cyber Security
Awareness Week' -
http://www.staysmartonline.gov.au/news/news_articles/regular/national_cyber_
security_week

If you press that button and the response is underwhelming, then if nothing
else it's pretty newsworthy? (esp if you can get a Think of the children
angle in there)

Myself, and I am sure other members on this list would be interested to hear
of your experiences.

Good luck

Eric.

Hi all,

Off topic but a strange one, I have had an issue in my
personal life that requires the attention of a law enforcement officer that
is not technologically inept.
