[AusNOG] Plans, details, resources etc. for drop-in emergency networks for situations like this Qld one?

Hi,

Thinking about this Qld/Brisbane situation, I'm curious if anybody
knows of any plans etc. by any emergency response organsations (or any
others) regarding ad-hock drop-in emergency data networks (most likely
wireless ones). A lot of wired data infrastructure that supports
emergency response, policing services and other essential services has
probably lost power, and if it is under water is going to take time to
get replace and/or get going again. I'm curious because I'm wondering
if we on this list and/or the people and/or organisations we work for
or with can do something to help with this sort of thing if it would be
useful.
