What would be fantastic is, as per some professional lists, simply summarising your off-list replies at the end.

Do understand a lot of people live interrupt-driven lives and having 28 interrupts for the same issue they have no interest in may be annoying (for the purposes of this email, we'll pretend that email rules don't exist :P) BUT lets not throw the baby out with the bathwater to satisfy people who ultimately did sign up for a NOG list as i'm sure there is an element of the list who ARE interested in possibly all 28 of those replies..

... Any reason summarising to a single email or pastebin URL once the off-list replies have been aggregated doesn't work?

Just a thought.
