General question here (and not having a go at Tom), but why do people request responses off-list for relatively trivial things?
Requests for assistance, sure thing, but I wouldn't have thought recommendations for a 3G Provider with Static Public IP are sensitive enough that they they can't be shared with the rest of the list - and, if someone feels so inclined, you can always change the To: field with relative ease.
I for one would also be interested to know if there are providers out there offering such a service! :-)

Cheers,
-Brad.

Subject: [AusNOG] 3G with static public IP
Hi,
Wondering if anyone can provide a 3G data service (SIM only) in Melbourne with a static, public IP address. This will be used for a small embedded application in a home. 1GB/month quota should be sufficient.
Any responses off-list please
Regards,
Tom
