Agree with rack space - though watch out for water leaking in to racks ;)
Nothing soft about Telstra Wholesale saying they can't give u a DSL
connection while Bigpond can or a new connection that was not provisioned
properly. Though they have been better lately. Maybe the threat of the NBN
is working ;)
Try paying ~$30 wholesale for a voice line and make money against Telstra
retail.

So really your left trying to fix an issue that isn't yours in the first
place! that really sucks. Wouldn't it be better to try and find a contact

They don't seem to update them ;) I've got all these on a greylisting bypass
but I still get Telstra/Bigpond mail caught at the greylisting level from
IP's that arent listed in there SPF response.
