[AusNOG] IPV6 DEPLOYMENT SUGGESTION

Hi Pritam,

Have you considered applying for global IPv4 space from APNIC? We're not out of address space yet, and when we reach the final /8 the community has put in place a policy to allow for 16 thousand networks to obtain a last allocation, to help with transition.

A web site hosted only on IPv6 will be unreachable from an IPv4 only end user system. The IPv6 and IPv4 networks are incompatible, so to communicate between them you must either use dual stack or some sort of protocol translation system.
