Looks like simplified chinese searches will be able to be conducted from servers located in Hong Kong, and other service will remain in China

"The company said it is not pulling out of China and it will continue to host non-search services in China and intends to keep sales and research operations in China."
The only option is to let the Chinese gov't censor Google itself. Do you think the Chinese people would notice?
They now have enough rope to hang themselves with, lets see if they do it or not.
