Someone enlighten me, a quote from this article:

"If they didn't cooperate and hand over their facilities ... they would have had structural separation and their whole business plan would have collapsed."

Structural separation would only collapse their business plan if that plan relies on Telstra maintaining monopoly and selling services to BigPond cheaper than it does to other wholesalers?
