Steve,

Normally you find everyone will be doing the turn modem on and off
cause facebook.com, youtube.com is down  so it will over run the auth
server.
Then the Call center will get busy cause of all the calls soon wont
have any lines left to have people on hold.
kind of a snowball affect.
