ACL notified prior to Conroys filtering announcement.
Skeeve, any chance you can reach out to these folks and educate them on
reality, i think the whole IT community wants to help the children, but
someone really needs to educate these folks that Conroys filter is misguided
and if anything could be used in future as a mechanism to prohibit freedom
of speech, including but not limited to freedom of religious views.
Suppose one day, a future government wants to fully legalize abortion, and
they use the filter to stop anti-abortion advertising because its against
the law, OR vice verse? Once we go down this path it only can get worse.
