Can I just suggest that if anyone is going to do any campaigning about this,
that they coordinate it with one of the other groups?

It's a political issue, and awareness of the politics is required. A lot of it is
non-intuitive. There are several organizations who have been following this
for ages, and who know the ins and outs deeply enough to be able to tell
the difference between activism that's useful and activism that's counterproductive.

EFA is a good place to start. SIG has a more corporate approach. GetUp! has
been less well-directed, but more motivational (nobody else has motivated
average punters to put up $60k for television advertising, eh?)

Just sayin'.
