[AusNOG] Less than 10% of IPv4 Addresses Remain Unallocated

I remember back in the day people who didn't know much about computers would tell me they were buying a multimedia compatible PC, which was some list of specs that even the most basic pc met - you know, having a cdrom, video card and a sound card. Or another recent marketing term comes to mind, Intel Centino. They say it on TV, and because the consumer knows they don't understand what it means, they buy into the marketing.
If you really want customers to go out and look for a specific CPE, you need a marketing name for IPv6 which doesn't sound like IPv6 and makes them think it will be faster, better and hence what they should buy. Maybe call it V6? (make them think it's 1.5x better than V4). Telling them the science behind the logo on the box really doesn't get through.
