In a previous job I used TheDude for quick visualisation of what traffic
was where (in addition to MRTG/RRD for longer term stats).  Only real
downside I found - for that specific application - was it didn't handle
links larger than about 2.2gbps (guess it used 32 bit signed ints).  Was a
problem on 10gbps interfaces :-(
