Another topic perhaps?

Indeed.

In the current customer portal, there are three things required to enter a
prefix into the database.
A) The prefix
B) The AS-PATH
C) The state of origin. (This can be left as undefined)

The state of origin applies an additive community:
<ASN of IX>:4000 - QLD
<ASN of IX>:2000 - NSW
<ASN of IX>:3000 - VIC
<ASN of IX>:7000 - TAS
<ASN of IX>:5000 - SA
<ASN of IX>:9000 - ACT

So as an example, 9722:2000 means that you are at the QLD IX and the
received route was tagged as originating in NSW.

Hope this helps.
