Awesome review and advice. Ok, soon as Voda have them (may already, I've been out of the country since early december) I will get one.

Hi Skeeve,
OS6 is really good. To me it looks like web 2.0 styles have been applied to the device (gives it a bit of style more like HTML -vs- the old BB text look).
The navigation is smooth and consistent. It doesn't hang or stutter like the old OS did.
Touch screen really does make the phone a lot like the iPhone without actually trying to be one. I can swipe, slide and touch icons.. even within apps.
Web browsing is very good - it's much quicker and the pages are presented like a proper web browser (looks like FireFox to me) so I can click on links and visit the web easier than the old OS.
Mail services work exactly like my old BB 9000 and connects with our Hosted Exchange perfectly. Does HTML mail, embedded links, etc.
I travel a lot between Aus and NZ so my phone is my primary connectivity device for a lot of the time and it's important that the damn thing works.
My battery time is just under 2 days even with calls, emails and web browsing. When the battery is low (flashing red and complaining) I can still make calls and get emails. Very impressive.
I bought my techs in Aus and NZ a Torch at the beginning of December and I've had zero complaints - that's saying something because they whinged about the iPhone and the Nokias, which are now sitting in drawers as test devices. My Nokia e75 is in a bin at Airedale Street Auckland. Never again.
Cheers.

Darren,
Re the Torch... Do you like it? I've only felt up the mock-up's in the
Optus stores and wasn't too impressed with the lip at the bottom of the
keyboard and the general feeling... But if you went from a Bold 9700
(which I have) to a Torch and you liked it, maybe I will give it a go.
I assume it is running OS6? What is it like over OS5?
